About ACCREA Medical Robotics
ACCREA Medical Robotics, developing innovative medical robotics, is looking for a Python Developer to join our dynamically growing team. As we commercialize our solutions and expand our project portfolio, you will join our current developer in co-creating key software components for advanced surgical systems. This is an ideal role for someone who wants to have a real and immediate impact on shaping the medicine of the future.
Role Purpose
The Python Developer will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining key components of the vision system and machine learning algorithms responsible for precise object detection and position analysis. The immediate goal is to increase the reliability, efficiency, and accuracy of software controlling medical robots.
Responsibilities
Maintaining existing Python code (including in the vision system).
Code testing.
Building, acquiring, and processing data, training and optimizing machine learning models for shape/object detection and animal pose estimation.
Key Requirements
- ✓Experience working with Computer Vision frameworks such as OpenCV, YOLO, MediaPipe.
- ✓Knowledge of data processing tools, especially Numpy and Pandas.
- ✓Practical and theoretical knowledge of Machine Learning, especially in the areas of:
- •Pose Estimation
- •Keypoint Detection
- •Object Detection
- •Model quality and performance evaluation
- •Training models for image analysis and processing
- ✓Ability to work with video and image data, including preprocessing, augmentation, and annotation.
- ✓Experience writing clean, well-documented, and testable Python code (minimum 3 years).
- ✓Ability to work with Linux systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- +Experience in medical (safety-critical) projects, especially object detection in surgical images.
- +Experience in projects related to animal recognition or tracking.
- +Knowledge of frameworks dedicated to animal movement and position analysis, such as DeepLabCut.
- +Experience working with real-time systems utilizing machine vision.
- +Ability to work with RGB-D cameras.
We prefer candidates from Lublin and surrounding areas, due to our location and hybrid work model (1-2 days per week in the office).
